PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), can be used for the face to stimulate collagen production and cell regeneration and can improve skin texture, reduce wrinkles and leave your skin looking younger. We apply the PRP directly with micro-needling The difference is... this is made by drawing a small amount of your own blood, processing it to concentrate the platelets or fibrin to make the serum.
Cancellation Policy
1. Avoid the following for at least 1 week prior to PRP/PRF: Do not use any prescription of over the counter anti-inflammatory medications such as NSAIDS, Ibuprofen, Aleve, Naprosyn, Aspirin, Voltaren, Diclofenac, Meloxicam, Mobic or Celebrex for 4 days prior and 7 days after or as stated by your primary MD (PCP), Tylenol is allowed. 2. Avoid supplements: Gingko, Garlic, Vit E, Vit A, Flax oil Curcumin and anti-inflammatory supplements. 3. Systemic steroids, Prednisone or Dexamethasone must be discontinued 2 weeks prior to and 4 weeks after PRP or as stated by your PCP. 4. Avoid alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes 3 days prior to treatment. 5. Discontinue blood thinning medications (Plavix, Coumadin, Heparin) or supplements 1 week prior, unless taking for a medical condition ,then consult your PCP. 6. If taking broad spectrum beta-blockers this may need to be changed in advance as it alters platelet activation and healing. Please contact your PCP. 7. Prescriptions medications including heart and blood pressure should be taken as prescribed. 8. Hydrate well the day before and the day of procedure. 9. May start Arnica, to decrease the risk of bruising. ( 5 pellets-3 times a day starting 2 days prior and continue the day of and 2 days after) 10. Ensure you have not taken Acutane for 6 months.
